Slovenia Trailing Azerbaijan in UN Security Council Vote

New York, 22 October - Slovenia and Azerbaijan are still in the battle for the Eastern European seat on the UN Security Council in 2012-2013 after nine rounds of balloting in the UN General Assembly on Friday. However, Azerbaijan has a strong lead as it received 113 votes in the last vote, while Slovenia got 77. The voting will continue on Monday.
