Idrija Mercury Mine Listed on UNESCO Heritage List
Saint Petersburg, 30 June - UNESCO's World Heritage Committee has decided to include Idrija's mercury mine along with the mine in Spain's Almaden on its world heritage list. Education, Science, Culture and Sport Minister Žiga Turk said this was a great accomplishment for Slovenia.
