Fmr Merkur CEO Gets Five Years

Ljubljana, 5 September - Bine Kordež, former boss of hardware retailer Merkur, was found guilty of abuse of office and forgery on Wednesday. The judges' panel of the Ljubljana District Court sentenced him to five years in prison and a fine of EUR 39,500. Kordež has announced an appeal to the ruling.
