Maribor City Council Stays On

Maribor, 7 January - The Maribor City Council held its first regular session after more than two months on Monday and rejected in a 21-6 vote a motion to disband itself amid continuing protests against alleged corruption, which had previously prompted Mayor Franc Kangler to step down.
