Constitutional Commission Okays Change of Referendum Rules

Ljubljana, 10 January - The parliamentary Constitutional Commission endorsed on Thursday guidelines for a constitutional law that would severely restrict referenda. With only the opposition Positive Slovenia (PS) against the changes, the legislation has the necessary two-thirds majority in parliament.
