Abanka Reports Estimated Loss of EUR 72m for 2012

Ljubljana, 1 February - Slovenia's third-largest bank, Abanka Vipa, finished 2012 with a loss of EUR 72m and with total assets of EUR 3.6bn, which is a 14.6% decrease on the end of 2011, shows an estimate of last year's operations presented to superiors on Thursday. While the loss is a 56% improvement on 2011, operating profit was up 15% to EUR 47m.
