MPs Agree to Stricter Rules for Public Office Holders

Ljubljana, 7 March - MPs backed at first reading on Thursday five of six proposed legislative changes aimed to raise standards for public office holders. Despite reservations expressed in the debate, they also nodded to changes enabling the recall of mayors and the exclusion of everyone indicted for an intentional crime from the National Assembly.
