Lafarge Cement Request for Eco Permit Rejected Again
Ljubljana, 16 March - The Environment Agency (ARSO) has again turned down a request by the French-owned cement maker Lafarge Cement for an environmental permit for its waste furnace at the Trbovlje plant, saying pollution data submitted still exceeds permitted levels. ARSO however hinted a temporary permit was still possible if the right measures are adopted.
