Ex-MEP Pleads Guilty of Accepting Bribe
Ljubljana, 11 February - Former MEP Zoran Thaler pleaded guilty of taking a bribe at the Ljubljana District Court on Tuesday in a plea bargain. He was sentenced to two years and a half in prison, which he will serve over the weekends. He was also ordered to pay a fine of EUR 32,250 and was banned from performing a public function for five years.
