SDS Files Signatures for Archives Referendum
Ljubljana, 25 March - The opposition Democrats (SDS) filed on Tuesday over 46,000 signatures for a referendum on changes to the archives act, reiterating the aim to preserve access to files of the communist-era secret police. The parliamentary speaker has a week to set the referendum date, with the SDS hoping it can be held alongside the 25 May EU elections.
