Ankaran Dispute Between Top Court and Parliament Revived

Ljubljana, 20 June - In a revived tug-of-war between the National Assembly and the Constitutional Court over the coastal municipality of Ankaran, MPs backed on Friday a declaration rejecting the top court's decision from 2011 to step in and form the independent municipality in place of parliament. Only 41 of 90 MPs voted, adopting the contentious document 24-17.
