After Bank Bail-out, Bail-in in the Spotlight

Ljubljana/Maribor, 9 September - Slovenia successfully bailed out its banks in late 2013. Now the spotlight has turned to the most controversial aspect of the project, the bail-in of subordinated bondholders. The Constitutional Court is expected to hear the case shortly and reports have been mounting that the bail-in was forced upon Slovenia by the European Commission.
