Slovenia to Meet GMOs Opt-Out Deadline

Ljubljana, 29 September - The government Committee for the Economy upheld on Tuesday Slovenia's wish to be excluded from the EU territories where production of individual EU-approved genetically modified organisms (GMOs) is allowed. This means the country will meet the 3 October deadline by which member states can secure an opt-out.
