SMC official suggests changes to army law aimed at avoiding state of emergency

Ljubljana, 22 October - A senior official of the coalition Modern Centre Party (SMC) suggested on Thursday that the changes to the army act giving the armed forces greater powers in protecting Slovenia's border were aimed at preventing the need to declare a state of emergency.
