Ombudsman announces mass constitutional petitions if marriage equality is rejected

Ljubljana, 29 October - Human Rights Ombudsman Vlasta Nussdorfer has said that her office would demand a constitutional review of all relevant legislation if an act introducing marriage equality is rejected in a referendum. Changes to the marriage act were passed in March, but a conservative group is challenging them in a referendum.
