Mercury heritage exhibition opens in Idrija museum

Idrija, 21 January - The town of Idrija (W), whose mercury mining heritage is included on the UNESCO World Heritage List, will now get a permanent mercury mining exhibition in its local museum. The display entitled Tracing Mercury: Idrija-Almaden will be launched tonight, marking the 62nd anniversary of the Idrija Town Museum.
