Fiscal Council appointments uncertain

Ljubljana, 16 February - The appointments of three economic experts whom the government nominated last week to the Fiscal Council, a new independent body tasked with monitoring fiscal policy, seem uncertain. The nominees need the support of two thirds of MPs, but for now they have been backed by only the coalition parties.
