FAO head supports Slovenia's honeybee initiative, Židan says
Celje, 12 March - Slovenia, the Czech Republic, Hungary, Serbia and Montenegro signed on Saturday a joint communique expressing support for Slovenia's initiative to have 20 May declared World Honeybee Day by the UN. Agriculture Minister Dejan Židan believes this will happen by the end of 2017. He added that the UN FAO head Jose Graziano da Silva supported the idea.
