Deal freezing doctors' strike initialled, but public sector talks suspended
Ljubljana, 22 November - The Health Ministry and the FIDES trade union have initialled an agreement suspending the doctors' strike which paves the way for higher pay through adoption of uniform workload standards. The potential ramifications of the deal for the public sector as a whole have however stirred the coalition and disrupted the pay talks for the sector.
