Maribor agrees to mediation over 2012 Drava floods damage

Maribor, 1 December - The first in a series of hearings against Austrian utility Verbund, which is believed to have contributed to the massive damage caused in 2012 by the swollen Drava river, was scheduled to be held today. The plaintiff, the Maribor municipality, which demands EUR 650,000 in damages, however agreed to mediation.
