Minister argues aliens act amendments urgent

Ljubljana, 26 January - Interior Minister Vesna Györkös Žnidar defended the amendments to the aliens act as she presented the controversial legislation to the National Assembly on Thursday. "The law has been written as an extreme measure in the event Slovenia is so overburdened it can no longer implement the act on international protection," she said.
