NGOs in last-ditch call against new aliens act

Ljubljana, 26 January - As the Slovenian parliament is expected to pass the highly-controversial amendments to the aliens act on Thursday, more than 20 NGOs launched a last-ditch appeal to MPs to drop the bill, which they say would undermine the right to asylum.
