Lex Mercator enters into force
Ljubljana, 6 May - The law designed to prevent the diversion of funds from systemically important companies, also known as Lex Mercator, entered into force on Saturday. It is a response to reports that Croatian conglomerate Agrokor is siphoning funds from its Slovenian retail subsidiary Mercator.
