Maribor mayor not to stand trial over 2013 university plot sale

Maribor, 19 September - More than two years after a plan to build a private international university in Maribor fell through and suspicions were raised whether the investor paid a fair price for the plot, the Prosecutors' Office has thrown out a criminal complaint against Maribor Mayor Andrej Fištravec, the newspaper Večer reported on Tuesday.
