Archaeologist Šprajc returns to Yucatan for vital answers about the Maya

Ljubljana, 18 October - After discovering the ruins of three ancient Mayan cities in a remote jungle in the Yucatan in 2013 and 2014, Slovenian archaeologist Ivan Šprajc returned to the south-eastern Mexico this year to explore what the prosperity of the cities was based on and to learn more about why this ancient civilisation collapsed.
