Private schools concerned about possible funding cuts

Ljubljana, 8 December - Private primary schools are concerned about a parliamentary Education Committee proposal that would cancel state funding for state-approved extended programmes. They argue this would run against the Constitutional Court decision it was suppose to comply with.

Slovenian primary school children (in sixth and ninth grades) will not be taking the nation-wide exams this year.
