Slovenia hosts World Bee Day reception in New York

New York, 21 December - Slovenia hosted a reception at the UN in New York on Wednesday to celebrate the General Assembly's endorsement of its initiative to declare World Bee Day. 115 countries, among them the entire EU and all world powers, voted for the resolution to have 20 May declared the day of honey bees.
