Večer says Ptuj has bipolar attitude toward carnival

Maribor, 13 February - The newspaper Večer comments on Tuesday on Kurentovanje, the biggest and most popular carnival in Slovenia. The roaming of Kurents across the villages near the medieval town of Ptuj has recently made the UNESCO list of intangible cultural heritage, but still Ptuj locals seem to be somewhat ambivalent toward this tradition.
