Competition watchdog boss: dismissal calls threat agency's independence

Maribor, 28 April - The embattled director of the Competition Protection Agency (AVK), Andrej Matvoz, labelled the calls from the government to dismiss him unacceptable pressure and a threat to the agency's independence in an interview for the paper Večer. He believes that this should be taken very seriously, considering the cases AVK is currently reviewing.
