Popovič's request for recount in Koper denied, Bržan stays winner
Koper, 7 December - The Municipal Electoral Commission in Koper has rejected in full a request for a recount of ballots cast in the Sunday mayoral run-off filed by incumbent Mayor Boris Popovič. A recount nevertheless took place in one polling station, with the election winner, local radio host Aleš Bržan, getting a few more votes.
