Slovenia celebrates first anniversary of World Bee Day

Ljubljana, 20 December - The National Assembly and the Slovenian Beekeepers' Association hosted on Thursday a ceremony to mark one year since the UN declared World Bee Day at Slovenia's initiative. Speaker Dejan Židan said this "extraordinary achievement" had shown that Slovenia as a small nation could contribute to the tackling of global challenges.
