Illegal crossings of border up 6.5% in first three months

Ljubljana, 16 April - Police recorded 1,835 illegal crossings of the border in the first three months of the year, which is 6.5% more than in the same period last year. Most migrants came from Pakistan, Morocco and Afghanistan. A total of 584 migrants expressed the intention of requesting for asylum and 550 carried this through.
