Cigarette prices to go up by almost 5% in October
Ljubljana, 2 September - The Finance Ministry has proposed a raising of excise duties that entails a 4.8% increase in the average price of a pack of cigarettes in October. The prices of other tobacco products will also go up, while heat-not-burn products and electronic cigarettes will not be affected. The rise is expected to bring in an additional EUR 18 million a year.
