Dnevnik says Merkel's party punished for its MPs' conduct

Ljubljana, 15 March - The Christian Democratic Union's (CDU) heavy losses in the German regional elections are not so much a result of epidemic setbacks as they are a backlash against a face-mask procurement scandal involving the party's MPs and their failure to heed coronavirus measures, says the daily Dnevnik on Monday.
