Twenty parties vying for 90 seats in parliament

Ljubljana, 25 March - Twenty political parties and groupings have filed candidacies for the 24 April general election, most of them in all eight electoral units. While some local electoral commissions have already verified the candidacies, others will do so in the comings days. This will be the ninth general election since 1992, and the tenth since 1990.
