New defence minister announces field visits as he takes office

Ljubljana, 2 June - After taking over on Thursday from his predecessor Matej Tonin, Defence Minister Marjan Šarec announced he will conduct field visits to military, and civil protection and disaster relief units in order to asses the current situation first-hand. One of his first moves as minister will be to tackle military personnel shortages.
