Parties have varying ideas on how to balance public finance

Ljubljana, 7 April - Fiscal consolidation after the turmoil caused by the Covid-19 pandemic and the energy price crisis is seen as one of the most pertinent tasks for the new government. The main contenders in the 24 April election broadly agree on the need for consolidation, but they propose the whole gamut of ways to achieve that, from spending cuts to tax hikes.
