Freedom Movement wins landslide as Slovenians vote for change

Ljubljana, 25 April - The Freedom Movement, a liberal party formed just months ago with a promise to end the rule of the Janez Janša government, won Sunday's general election with a landslide as Slovenians turned out massively to vote for change after a turbulent two years marked by Covid restrictions and growing polarisation.
