Freedom Movement president Golob declares victory
Ljubljana, 24 April - Robert Golob, the head of the new Freedom Movement party, has declared victory in the general election after 80% of the vote had been counted proclaiming him the relative winner. "Today dreams are coming true, not only ours but also the dreams of a large part of Slovenia," he said. Outgoing PM Janez Janša has congratulated Golob on the win.
