Parliament bans referendum on new communicable diseases act

Ljubljana, 15 July - The National Assembly backed a proposal late on Thursday to ban a referendum on the latest amendments to the communicable diseases act to create a legal framework for restrictions in case of epidemic after the former government's Covid-19 measures were annulled by the Constitutional Court for lacking such a basis.
