Less interest in local office this year

Ljubljana, 8 November - Voters in Slovenia's 212 municipalities will elect mayors and local councils on 20 November. There is less interest in local office this year than in 2018 and a quarter of municipalities have a single candidate for mayor. However, local office remains attractive for MPs and former government ministers.
