Close race expected in Maribor, upset by toppled ex-mayor not excluded

Maribor, 11 November - Maribor, Slovenia's second largest city, is seeing another crowded local election race, with 15 candidates running for mayor, more than in any other municipality. The outcome is uncertain, but the top favourites include incumbent Saša Arsenovič, former mayor Franc Kangler and Freedom Movement candidate Vojko Flis.
