Voters heading to polls in Slovenia's 8th local elections

Ljubljana, 18 November - Slovenian voters will head to the polls yet again on Sunday to elect mayors and municipal councils in the country's 212 municipalities for the coming four years. 618 candidates are standing for mayor and 18,671 for 3,300-plus seats on municipal councils in Slovenia's 8th local elections since the first were held in 1994.
