Near-final results confirm Novo Mesto Mayor Macedoni's re-election

Novo Mesto, 20 November - After nearly 97% of the votes counted, unofficial results show that Novo Mesto Mayor Gregor Macedoni has won a third term in Sunday's local election in what is bound to be a comfortable victory. According to near-final results, he got some 74%, whereas his only rival, Srečko Vovko of the coalition SocDems, received about 26%.
