Freedom Movement victorious as Nova Gorica goes into run-off

Nova Gorica, 21 November - Jurist Samo Turel, a candidate of Prime Minister Robert Golob's Freedom Movement, will challenge Mayor Klemen Miklavič in the second round of local elections. What is more, the party has won the city council in Golob's home constituency in a landslide, securing almost 47% of the vote.
