Analysts note lack of competition in local elections
Ljubljana, 21 November - Two analysts commenting on the outcome of Sunday's local elections have noted a lack of competition in many municipalities, which political podcaster Aljaž Pengov Bitenc says reflected in the low turnout. Simona Kukovič of the School of Advanced Social Studies is worried about a growing number of municipalities having just one mayoral candidate.
