Public sector trade unions up in arms over alleged wage adjustment ban

Ljubljana, 4 October - Public sector trade unions trashed on Wednesday a provision in a pending budgetary bill for 2024 that they say would prevent an adjustment of basic wages next year. Coming as pay system reform negotiations are continuing, the provision is seen by the unions as encroaching on their rights and as an attempt at disciplining them.
