Vast majority thinks animal protection should be improved, shows survey

Brussels, 21 October - Some 88% of Slovenians believe that the welfare of farm animals should be better protected, shows a Eurobarometer survey. Nearly three quarters are also in favour of stepping up protection of the welfare of house pets.
