50 lose jobs as Laško Union stops soft drinks production in Ljubljana

Ljubljana, 20 November - The country's leading brewery Pivovarna Laško Union will have phased out the production of non-alcoholic drinks, notably the brands Sola and Zala, by the end of November. As a result, 50 workers have lost their jobs, leaving the number of employees at the Ljubljana facility at over 170, the company said in a statement on Monday.
