Talks on fiscal rule reform going in right direction, says minister

Brussels, 8 December - Slovenia sees negotiations about the EU's fiscal rule reform as heading in the right direction, Finance Minister Klemen Boštjančič said on Friday, following late-night ministerial talks in Brussels. Slovenia has been pushing for the new rules to take effect as of 31 December 2025, which has been now agreed in principle.
